Summer Job for Urban Planning?

Hello Detroit Yesers!
I am currently a junior at U of D Jesuit High School, and I'm very passionate about the city of Detroit and its revitalization. It is my biggest dream to be a part of the city's reemergence as a major US city. I plan on going to college and majoring in Urban and Regional Planning. I've been job searching for this summer, and I'd like to get some experience in the field. I'd like to get some hands on experience and make connections here early on. I was wondering if anyone had advice or knew of any programs or someone who could help me get this experience this summer.
