    Default RIP Phil Everly

What can be said? The Everly Brothers were easily one of the most influential acts in rock history. From the Beatles to Simon & Garfunkle to CSN

Good to see some appreciation for the Everlys.

Not everyone likes the same music-- heck, I hear tell that some folks don't even think that Mick Jagger is a great rock & roll singer!!-- but the influence of the Everly Brothers runs deep through American pop music, and some folks who may not enjoy their sound are simultaneously enjoying the work of artists who bear the mark of that influence.

One of my fav bands. Boy did they not only write a slew of hits for themselves, they did for others as well.
