Progress Being Made for International Auto Welcome Center

Not sure if this has been mentioned in a different thread, but $550,000 has been secured towards the purchase of the Highland Park Ford Plant; the sale is expected to be complete in February or March. After the sale is completed, the plan is to raise $7.5 million dollars to renovate the buildings and then open the center in 2018. Hopefully this will come to fruition, and hopefully it can draw visitors from all over the world as is planned. It would be nice for the factory to finally be open to the public and it seems like they have some great ideas for attractions there.
