25 bucks for a 50 minute skate? Wouldn't dropping 10 bucks in a Salvation Army kettle at the entrance be a nice gesture considering the windfall the Winter Classic is bringing?

$2,500 per hour to rent to play hockey. No thanks. I'll play on the pond for free at Lower Huron Metro Park or for a lot less money at Clark Park.

Plus you can skate for 10 bucks or less just a few blocks away at Campus Martius.

That's just terrible. The Ilitch family lives off cracker pizzas and is heavily-dependent on public assistance, and all you people can do, at Christmastime no less, is mock their plight. For shame.
