Sadly Joan Fontaine and her [[still alive) 15 month old older sister Olivia Di Havilland had sibling rivalry all their lives and had not talked to each other in over 40 years.

Just on Saturday I was watching one of my all time favorite old movies... Alfred Hitchcock's first USA made movie... REBECCA... which made Joan Fontaine famous.

In 2014 REBECCA will be on Broadway as a musical, brought here from a very successful European run.

The lifelong sibling rivalry had an interesting twist between Joan Fontaine and Olivia De Havilland. Joan once commented....
