    Looks like the shipping container development might be moving forward. It would certainly be interesting, to say the least.

    Definitely of note is the fact mentioned in the MLive article that Frank Lloyd Wright's grandson is joining the firm as lead architect.

    For as fascinated as I am with this project, I am also sceptical. This group originally tried to build condos in Woodbridge, then a hotel in Eastern Market, and now this.

    I would love to see this happen. I would love to see how they make these to survive Northern Winters. But the track record is not so good.

    Container structures could be used to house retail along Grand River and Gratuot where there are vacant strips of land or will be in the future.
