Default CNN Pundit Defends Obama: "Every President Is Going To Lie To You"

    Well OK!

Stated with such 'certainty', it's at least comforting to know we have that out of the way!

There need not be any further confusion...? We have our new orthodoxy!

"Americans have said we can deal with the lies that President Obama tells us because we believe in his heart, he has the best interest for the American people. Every president is going it lie to you. Every politician is going to lie to you. The question is, which lies can you live with?"

Priceless. Calvin Coolidge and Ron Paul didn't lie. I don't think Kucinich or Ralph Nader lied. Maybe the guy is saying something about CNN's standards for reporting. The comment was like something one might have expected 'good Germans' to have said about Hitler.

Real comedy would involve a President who was recorded telling the same lie 23 times on one YouTube Video to get it passed or who promised to end the war immediately if elected. Or maybe a President who invokes Roosevelt building the Hoover dam although his own administration shut down some of Roosevelt's dams while his own hasn't built much more than a problematic website.

Well Paul's lies are not direct policy issues, law and edict. He's not president and not part of the elite 'upper-room' so to speak, impacting us daily.

More's the comedy [[and pity) is that we're being spoon fed bold-face rationalizations for lying and ACCEPTING lies. That aside from the content, import and ramifications of what we are being told and sold.

Gotta love the new orthodoxy as presented. So absolute, and so pure in purpose.

The difference with this President was he TOLD the American people to hold him to a higher standard. He was Change we could believe in. Now we are told that we can and should expect him to lie and lower our standards of expectations AFTER he was elected.

Yes, that fact [[standards promised) does seem to emerge doesn't it?

And because of this, there will be NO "Change".
There will only be change if the people demand it.

... and, yes, demand it from your OWN political party.

Where's the fun in that. Better to blame the 'other' party for all the problems or criticisms. Makes for a better us/ them matrix and continuum... lest we have have to think beyond the 'checkers' level....

SNOWDEN NOMINATED FOR NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

Two Norwegian lawmakers say they have jointly nominated former NSA contractor Edward Snowden for the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.
Socialist lawmakers Baard Vegard Solhjell, a former environment minister, and Snorre Valen said Wednesday the public debate and policy changes "in the wake of Snowden's whistleblowing has contributed to a more stable and peaceful world order."
Being nominated just means Snowden will be one of scores of names that the Nobel committee will consider for the prestigious award.
