The Detroit Blues Society is sponsoring a fundraiser for Toys for Tots tonight, Dec. 6, 6:30 p.m., at On the Waterfront, a/k/a the Cooley Lake Inn, 8635 Cooley Lake Road in Commerce Township. Admission is $10 or an unwrapped toy worth at least $10. Acts include The Boa Constrictors, Sweet Willie Tea, Broken Arrow Blues Band, Cadillac Phoenix Blues Band, The Alligators, Carl Henry and Tim Hein. Food's good, and this is a lot of talent for a decent admission price and a good cause.

Despite the new location for Thornetta's Noel Night appearance, the fans found her! There was an SRO crowd [[~800 people) to see her last night. And she didn't disappoint in the beautiful sanctuary of the First Unitarian Universalist Church!

Nice to see a few DYes faces out and about at Noel Night too!!!
