    Default What's on fire? [Chemical Plant Fire at Mt. Elliot & McNichols - Level 3 Hazmat]

    From Ren Cen over toward maybe Eastern Market? Smoke billowing a few blocks beyond Greektown Casino.

    It's coming from Detroit's East Side. On Six Mile Rd. and Mt Elliot St. It's a chemical fire from a careless plant called 'Chemical Technology' a three alarm.

    I hope it's not Sliverstines army surplus supply store that's burning because I was planning to stop by there on Saturday and check out the Army "duck" amphibian vehicle that parked out front and maybe try to climb inside. I hope I can find some old WW2 bazooka parts. After that I'm going to stop at the original Marcus Hamburgers that's just across the street. Alway a fun time.
