    Default Hudson Site Redevelopment

if bedrock closes on the fail jail, they're going to be insanely busy over there.

interesting quote out of the article:

    from the article:

"Yes Larson says some office sectors are quite healthy. Many of the CBD's biggest buildings now have an occupancy rate over 90%, leaving a limited supply of space with large floor plates. And Rock Ventures has enough confidence that is has started the design process for a mammoth development with commercial, residential and office space on the site of the now-demolished Hudson's department store."

im curious to know who the local design will be. kraemer design group does a lot of work with bedrock, and they did do the whitney and broderick. but now that rosetti and newman smith moved downtown, i bet everyone is in on the gig. seems albert kahn wasn't asked to play.

16-18 floors for an office/residential combination can hardly be called mammoth.

The residental tower and podium portion are the initial phases of a much larger project that will develop the entire block... the project was never limited to one tower. It was decided and reported a while back that the first phase would be residential.
