Well, this video was done in 2007. The thought of removing Cobo must have taken place prior to the final decision to renovate it. The one idea of making Woodward a canal was out there. Capping the freeways with parks is a good idea, but capping entire freeways downtown would be expensive. However, I could see block-long caps immediatedly to the west and east of Woodward along the Fisher Freeway.
