Since the death of former Lincoln Park councilman, Mike Myers, the future of the Alldownriver.com web forum site is up in the air. For those of you not familiar with this site, it was originally known as YourLincolnPark.com, of which, Mike Myers along with his ex-wife Robin Lyson started. This was prior to the Facebook, social media boom, and the Lincoln Park politics were a driving force on the site.Mike's sister is wondering if there is anyone who would want to take over ownership of the Alldownriver.com website. The site will be up until about early next week. I asked what the site costs would be. She isn't certain but estimates $100 - $200 per year. However, my husband says that Mike said that the site was costing him $85/month. The site and its previous site, YourLincolnPark.com, brought many people together. Despite the boom of social media, the site could be more. If anyone is interested, message me please.
