Default What's with the blocked traffic down Warren by the MAAH from Woodward?

The African World Festival is now hosted at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History [[MAAH) on Warren east of Woodward [[Midtown Detroit).

This is the second year from the festival formerly being at Hart Plaza many decades. Friday onward from Cass Ave thru Brush traffic barricades close off the TWO right lanes of Warren avenue east and west! What is the purpose of this? Now you can hardly get down the street to even attempt to park.

WSU owns that lot on the northeast corner of Warren and Woodward, this is a money making event for them parking wise. But you can hardly get into the lot. I want to attend but I best do that early and come down Oakman from the back side to get a place to park. Woodward and Warren are useless due to the barricades.....

I guess this is a measure of traffic control but with the grass medium it is more of bottle necker.

It is literally the worst thing ever if you use Warren regularly [[I do). I really hope they get that stuff done ASAP so I can go back to using Warren like a regular street.
