Default "Detroit Homes and Neighorhoods Rarely Seen on Youtube"

I hope I'm not duplicating another thread. Here's a video look at some of the still nice homes and intact blocks in Detroit in various neighborhoods. A little longish, but nice.

They did a nice job, in doing their part to counter the current narrative.

Sorry for the typo in the title; perhaps an admin will correct please?

Thanks for sharing, some great real estate in the city!

Nice video. It would have been good to show more of the typical small, well-kept bungalows throughout the city, [[ideally with friendly folks waving to the camera from their lawns) to demonstrate several neighborhoods. Choosing only the most expensive makes it appear that just one of two of the very best neighborhoods were hand-picked.

Granted, much of Detroit is a wasteland, but so many people do not realize that there are such wonderful areas in the city as well.

I thought the same thing at first 401don. but then I saw a home that I totally recognized is in Russell Woods, that is clearly not in the "high end" zone of Palmer Woods or Boston Edison. Also, I did see the camera pan small house blocks. As beautiful as some of those homes are, many of them are in modestly priced neighborhoods.

You are totally right about the lack of people - where was everyone? :-)

Green Acres is full of friendly people, as is North Corktown. I've never walked or biked through either neighborhood without someone saying hello.
