Default Just when you think you heard it all....

A stray [[?) horse in Highland Park...

I hope this horse belongs to someone and found some shade.
If not, someone gets it to a good rescue shelter.

Sigh ... how far Highland Park has fallen. Now it's a one-horse town?

Maybe they should consult a Gallop Pole on what to do with the horse?

    ha ha ha, poor horse
Hopefully he has access to the vacant buildings for shade and it looks like he has plenty of grass to eat.
There is probably someone living in the vehicle back there

I think it beHOOVES us to be a little more serious about this matter.

I hope you guys are at least thinking of these yourselves, and not surfing google for pony puns......

Didn't someone dump a bunch of horses in SW this past year? I thought they were found emaciated and Michigan Humane Society came and got them? I wouldn't be surprised if this is a similar story.

Seriously, though, if you think this is bad, get a taste of what life was like in the horse-drawn age. I do think it was common to just unhitch a dead horse in the street where it died and leave it. Here's a somewhat well-known photo of a horse left dead in a poor-looking neighborhood.

Why don't we trot out all the puns we can muster, pen them up in a thread like this and pick a winner? Or would that be foalish?

To be saddled with such a burden assures one should rein in their predilection for shoed in puns.

I'm not a bit moved by these horse jokes. But we should all say yeah or neigh if we like' em. Highland Park is saddled with one more thing to deal wit; this is just another crop of problems. I guess I'll just hoof it over there, and see who else is feeding from the public trough - though I might be out flanked. Yeah, I know I sound buggy, but I just don't wanna stirrup any trouble.
