    Default Detroit Bank Holdup

You guys have been far to serious lately. Click on this surveillance tape of a Detroit bank holdup and get a real belly laugh! As a retired Detroit copper, I think I might be able to say, "been there, done that."

Talk about your Keystone Cops! That couldn't have been funnier if it were staged. How embarrassing. LOL!

Not only that, its not Detroit. Those are not City, County, or State patrol cars.

Exactly! I've received this from several people as an email forward. No one bothers to fact check things like this. So annoying.

Sad story: My cousin is a teller at a bank on Jefferson. The first time she was held up she was terrified, and had to take a couple of days off of work.

Umpteen holdups [[and attempted holdups) later, she finds it more annoying than anything else, as you have to do a whole bunch of paperwork.

The recent story of the twelve year old boy who broke into and nearly robbed the bank....who stole a bike to get him to the crime! ! And they're debating whether to charge him for this crime!!! Yes, charge him. He needs to learn that there are consequences for his actions in life. Next time he'll find a weapon, and an innocent victim will result. Now, how they incarcerate him is a different story. Send him to one of those U.P. Camps, where he'll be out of his normal element, receive mentoring and tough love. He'll get into a few 'fair fights', learn the value of close, real friendship, how to work hard and honestly....and hopefully come out of this mistake a better person. Right now, it seems like a cute, innocent little mischievous act by a child, but if not handled properly, he'll turn into another criminal statistic. My spin.

It's almost like a scene from Trailer Park Boys. I know one of them just has to be Officer George Green.
