The Michigan Avenue Coalition is starting to clean up Lafayette Boulevard in Corktown / SW Detroit today from 6th to St. Anne's Detroit. We will be pulling weeds, sweeping the sidewalks, and sweeping glass into trash bags. There appears to be several broken bottles along that route.
Our goal is to begin implementation of green infrastructure soon along that route, planting trees, flower beds, and gardens sponsored by citizens and businesses. We will be starting at 6th and Lafayette around 2pm TODAY! Bring Gloves and Water!
