    Default Martha's Statues...

Does anyone know if Martha "The Celebrity" Reeves' idea of immortalizing various and sundry Detroit singers into statues has any tangible development? While I think it wouldn't really help the city economically, I don't think it'd be a terrible idea, so long as the taxpayers weren't paying for it. It'd be kind of neat to walk into Midtown and see all these statues of Stevie Wonder, Aretha [[Hopefully with her hat), or others.

With the price of metal they may have to skip doing a statue of Aretha. Nobody has that kind of funding.
