    Default Chief Barren for Sheriff

    The story in today's News lists some of the possible candidates to replace Warren Evans as Wayne County Sheriff. They include assistant Wayne County Executive Benny Napoleon, the former Detroit police chief; Curtis Hertel, executive director of the Detroit-Wayne County Port Authority; Allen Park Mayor Gary Burtka; and Undersheriff Daniel Pfannes.

    Why not add Chief Barren to that list?

    Barren probably has not, at least to the media's knowledge, put in his resume. That is assuming he would want that position.
