    From the Windsor Star:

    Last Updated: May 21, 2013 - 4:14 PM EDT

Windsor firefighters are on the scene of a working fire in the 700 block of Sprucewood Avenue.

    The area is largely industrial.

    The Star is en route.

Friend sent me this pic driving along Jefferson.

I saw it while mowing at Fort Wayne...its almost straight across the river from me. i was surprised to see that it was not in fact emanating from the surrounding neighborhood as usual

been going for at least half an hour or more, and still going. if its plastic, it will probably be going for quite a while longer.

Default Large Smoke Plume Spreads Over Wyandotte From Windsor Fire [[Or Another Fire?)

I saw unusually dark smoke to the northeast just a short walk from my home down in Wyandotte, someone thought that this came from a fire at the nearby BASF plant or Fighting Island, but could this be from the Windsor fire too?

The second day in a row that I left work in Warren to see a massive plume of smoke over the City as I headed south. Anybody heard anything more about the Highland Park fire yesterday? The News just had a couple of sentences about a "warehouse fire" but didn't give any specifics.

Found this picture linked from a Windsor Star news article. From the Compuware building this smoke looked like it was right across the river, behind 150 W Jefferson. Didn't realize it was so far away. Pic is from Ren Cen.
