    He was one of the coolest rock stars ever. The music is truly over. RIP

    Lived in peace and met death in peace I would say. A true flower child spokesman throughout all his years and one of the most respected American rock musicians ever.     It's sad that Densmore was on the outs with Krieger and Manzarek. At least Robbie Robertson and Levon Helm had mended their fences before Levon died.

    Manzarek sure protected their legacy though. He alway seemed to be to be like "You mess with the Doors memory,you mess with me."
