Good point. The best way to deflect attention away from these scandals is to talk about the discussion about them, instead of discussing the scandals themselves.

Another headline for the article could be - a majority of Americans are following the IRS and Benghazi "situations."

Maybe American's have become too jaded with political sensationalism disguised as news stories... still trying to digest "Obama's $2 billion trip to India... with 34 warships!!"...

I'll take my news stories when the flames are not fanned by politicians... or people who's last names are Beck, Hannity or Maher...

39 percent of American voters who think the Obama administration's response to the assault represents the biggest political scandal in American history don't know that Benghazi is in Libya, according to a new poll by Public Policy Polling. As PPP reports:

One interesting thing about the voters who think Benghazi is the biggest political scandal in American history is that 39% of them don't actually know where it is. 10% think it's in Egypt, 9% in Iran, 6% in Cuba, 5% in Syria, 4% in Iraq, and 1% each in North Korea and Liberia with 4% not willing to venture a guess.

Overall, 58 percent of respondents knew Benghazi was in Libya, compared with more than 40 percent who chose another location or said they were not sure.

The buzz is Ambassador Christopher Stevens was involved in gun running to Qaddafi opposition in Libya, arms were ending up in the hands of Al Qaeda. It would have been game over for the US Presidential election if the US public found out the United States was inadvertently supplying Al Qaeda with arms during an election year.
So why would the whole Benghazi story get swept under the radar?
    The answer is obvious.

The “plan was based on abduction and exchange of high-level prisoners,” the terrorist wrote on the prominent jihadist Web forum Ansar al-Mujahideen Network. “However, the operation took another turn, for a reason God only knows, when one of the members of the jihadist cell improvised and followed Plan B.”Dhu-al-Bajadin’s claim of assassination also was copied to the Ansar al-Mujahidin website from the al Qaeda-accredited website Shumukh al-Islam. That site is open only to members, and the claim initially was posted for Dhu-al-Bajadin by a member identified as Adnan Shukri.

The reference to Shumukh al-Islam has boosted the credibility of the claim among some U.S. intelligence analysts. A Western intelligence official said Dhu-al-Bajadin is a well-known jihadist and a key figure behind a magazine called Al Qaeda Airlines.

U.S. officials gave instructions for Benghazi Medical Center to use a "John Doe" pseudonym on the death certificate of Ambassador Christopher Stevens after he died of asphyxiation in the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya. That's according to a U.S. official speaking on condition of anonymity because the official isn't authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

Is this a partisan one party attacking the other story?
I think not. I think this is the USA involved in stuff we have no business in, trying to backhandedy stick our noses in other people's business. Which is exactly the reason the Middle East is pissed off at us for in the first place.

This Administration is no better than any other. Lying in front of the cameras like very Administration before it.

What makes this bad is people are covering up for it.

If people turn a blind eye to bad politics and corruption because "their guy" is in charge, they are setting the status quo for when the other party's guy is "in charge"
.... as well as not weeding the bad eggs and bad politics out of their own party of choice.

We have to hold our Government to a higher standard.

    Country first,
    Political party 2nd.
That used to be America's way and it should be that way again.

So why would the whole Benghazi story get swept under the radar?
There were reports that 400 US state of the art surface to air missiles were captured by Al-Queda types in Libya. My question has been what were those missiles doing there. If they got into the wrong hands, they would be a potential threat to airliners all over the world. The Telegraph reported that the CIA had an arms running operation in Libya to run arms to Turkey to, in turn, get them into the hands of Syrian rebels. This doesn't sound any more far fetched than Ollie North running a gun for drugs operation for El Salvador out of the Nixon White House basement involving protection from Gov. Clinton's Arkansas State Police at the Mena airport. We also know that President Obama is considering sending surface to air missiles to to Syrian rebels even though the majority lean toward Al-Queda.

Congress told President Obama not to bomb Syria but he seems to be working around the edges in defiance of Congress. It's been one thing after another with Obama usurping Congress. First, he conducted an executive ordered bombing of Libya to help overthrow its government; an act of war and in violation with the War Powers Act. One thing leads to other including Mali, Behghazi, and the theft of our missiles which should not have been there. Not one to learn, Obama tried to start bombing Syria forcing everyone from the British Parliament, Putin, Congress, and the Pope to reign him in. It's no surprise that his popularity has gone up 2%. After all, historically, some fools gave Custer a commission.

If you call out the President for doing a poor job or one of the many scandals or anything what so ever it would be obviously because of his skin color.... right?

The whole Benghazi and IRS thing is merely another way for the magician to make you look over there while his partner, Big Corpa, furthers his intrusion into your wallet and life

Awesome! I'm relieved to know that Big Corpa, the IRS and Benghazi are fully distinct interests.
