Grand Traverse Bay, West Bay, live cam

For those of you who visit and enjoy the Traverse City area, there's a magnificent live cam of West Bay that's been set up. When you click on this site, there's a logo in the lower left hand corner that will take it to full screen. Soooooo relaxing!!!!

Ray, I did a night shift near downtown TC. When I would get out of work tired, all these people would be pouring into the beach full of energy.

I was thinking that this would make a good thread if additional live web cam sites were contributed. I tried first for a site from Santa Cruz but it had a dirty lens. I then found this one of Dublin that is very active at 4pm Detroit time. http://www.earthcam.com/world/irelan...?cam=templebar

I was in TC last week and spotted that camera while walking down Front Street. It's on top of the building housing the Red Ginger restaurant, between the State Theater and Horizon Books. It's a large camera; I thought it probably belonged to one of the local television stations.

Wow, I couldn't believe how busy it is in Dublin at 3:30 a.m. their time! Of course, it was Friday night.......

Here's a web cam located in Arkhangelsk, Russia:

This web cam is mounted above the front entrance to their city administration building and it sweeps back and forth, making a complete 180 degree sweep in 30 minutes.

Arkhangelsk is eight hours ahead of our Eastern Standard Time and it is located only about 90 miles south of the Arctic Circle. Therefore right now they are experiencing "white nights" and you can get a good view on their web cam any time of day here.
