X Games aren't my kind of thing but that has to be the best video to hit a target audience I've ever seen.

first poster on the youtube vid summed it up...
I can't help but to feel if ESPN doesn't pick Detroit they would have turned their back on the very thing they set out to create with the X Games.
Although I could see Austin. it's got it's own cache.

Wow, all "ruin porn" aside, this video is SO exciting! Oh to be young! And brave. I just keep watching this!

I've met one of the principles in this endeavor several times, Kevin Krease. He's a nice guy who really believes in this effort.

More Brave Bike Boys [[and girls too, I guess)

Folks used to see an outdoor version of the Motown Review at this playground, back in the day.

Gotta admit, I didn't get the hype over this. But after watching the video, I am mighty impressed! Let the games begin!!!!

I really hope Detroit get's this . Detroit really needs this more than any of the other cities.
In Chicago they wouldn't even know it was going on, Austin has south by southwest and doesn't really need it, Charlotte isn't really a good fit for it , and NONE of those cities even really went all out like Detroit has.
the folks behind the Detroit bid put their heart into it, none of the other cites even gave it a second though, their thinking is "well it would be kinda neat ".
Detroit is a prefect fit and it would be huge props for the city and it's cool /hip image .
I did a quick google search on the other 4 bid cities and Detroit's by far is the best .
All of the other cities had a small mention , Detroit went all out , video, Dan Gilbert , and a host team already in place .

If the X Games /ESPN folks are paying attention , Detroit would be an awesome place to host the games , and it would benefit both the X Games and Detroit . This is a good match !

This would get the worlds attention show all the great things that are happening here and show Detroit is serious about it's come back .

    Food for thought ?

I'm glad that Matty put those two windows in MCS, otherwise it might look abandoned and dilapidated.

All kidding aside, this is an awesome video. The quality of the aerials are amazing.

at 4:26 there is a scene of a mob running down the street carrying flags. One guy has a sign that says "SNACKS".

    That piqued my interest.

They forgot to put in the video that the people who attend the games must make sure to pick up their litter.
