Default Chapin Home, Marcus Burrows Designed, Estate Sale, Indian Village

    http://m.estatesales.net/estate-sales/426945.aspx

usually it is poor taste to promote estate sales on the forum, but considering the number of discussions about some of the people involved with this house, I thought it might be of interest.

it is a Hart Sale, so expect a ton of attitude and few deals, but the house might be worth a looksee.

    this Thursday thru Sunday.

The home was originally designed for Walter Jennings. He married Mabel Rose Chapin in 1907, Mabel was the sister of Roy D. Chapin Sr. The house cost $41,000 to build in 1917.

2455 Iroquois built in 1917 Indian Village Historic District Detroit, MI.

Interesting stuff, the lamps, the chairs, just wish the photography was up to par. 375 grand for a mansion. Wow. No exclamation point.
