    Default WWII Reenactment / Memorial Event next Wknd, May 11-12

    Our 4th annual World War 2 re-enactment and veteran's recognition weekend has moved in 2013. The event will be held May 11-12, 2013. We have a lot of information that will break soon so bookmark this page and check back regularly!

    ugh, from what i hear the semi-truck bringing the half-track tanks broke a driveshaft on the way down, so sorry, they did not make it to the event. but we will still be having 3 battles tomorrow.

    personally my favorite part is listening to Jim Conway speak on the role of Fort Wayne in WWII...his lecture is at 12:30pm, in the old barracks blg. he has a lot of excellent slides showing the fort in the 1940s
