CBD - Police, Fire, and Bomb Squad [[5/2/13)

Just saw a ton of police, fire, and bomb squad activity. It seems to be in the Randolph\Congress area but I'm unable to see where it is exactly at because of a building that's in my way.

Many streets are blocked off in the area.

Anyone have any details?

People always leave bags of shit, dirty laundry and garbage in Detroit. Lately, it has become a cause for bomb squads to overreact, lock down buildings, and blow up said shit, dirty laundry and garbage.

Witnesses say Cadillac Square and Congress are block off. Police have confirmed they are investigating what is being called a suspicious device.

nope, I heard the story 5 minutes after I made the post. I had heard that they were going to do an exercise, but that was sunday. and it was cancelled

There were a suspicious package in front of the mcnamara building this morning resulting in evacuations and streets closings
