Anybody have more inside info about the origin, ownership, history, condition, and significance of this structure through the years?

What about current details with regards to tenancy, short-term plans, long-term plans and etc.?

There are a number of long-term residents, mostly single men. It still operates as a hotel [[versus following landlord-tenant laws). There was recently a problem with a resident who was buying scrap metal scrapped from neighborhood homes, churches and businesses.
