Default St Augustine High School Questions

St. Augustine High School closed in 1966. The cornerstone of the building at 13477 Eureka in which [[I think) they were last housed shows a date of 1962. Were they really at the Eureka location for only four years before they closed for good? Where was the high school located before 1962? Can someone post a photo of that [[older) high school building?

I think the grade school was on Eureka and the high school was on Justine. The streets are adjacent to each other. The high school was not affected by a fire in the early 60's[[?). The new school was built in '62.

I think that you're right. It looks to me like the high school might have been next to the rectory, on Justine, in the area now covered by small units of some type [[in the below photo).

That especially makes sense since the 1962 cornerstone would be for a new elementary school, not for a new high school that would just be closed down a few years later.

I wonder if someone could post a photo of the high school.
