I heard from a pretty good [[ not great ) source that the hotel was foreclosed. I know for a fact that there were people in there today doing a physical inventory of all rooms and offices. My source said that the bank or mortgage company may try and keep the hotel running or they may mothball it.

I think that came up last night on WDIV when they did the story on the girl that was getting screwed for booking her wedding and reception there.

That building would make for amazing apartments, if you joined some of the rooms and added kitchenettes or kitchens. I wonder what the odds are that they would sell the vacant lot on the West end of the block to a private developer. It would be nice to see a building there.
