Default Detroit water department's head of security and integrity in hot water

Is there no end to the corruption in Detroit? Does Bing have his head in the sand? Employees taking pay cuts, losing health care benefits, pensions unfunded, retirees at risk of losing everything Detroit assurred them they'd receive after devoting years of their lives to the City, Police, Fire and EMS a laughing stock because they are not provided proper equipment to work with....and now this.

How can Watson and Kenyatta keep a straight face when they insist Snyder is stealing Detroit's "jewels"? This is total madness and how long will the people of Detroit allow this to go on? How long will they protest an EM? I hope to God that Snyder has found someone in this area who has some integrity, [[not Charlie Beckham) to come in and straighten up this mess.

Money is there folks; the politicians, appointees, and friends and family are still making decisions about your money and where it goes...and it's not going to the betterment of Detroit...it's going straight into someone's pockets, and they are very deep.

One EFM in Flint hires this guy as a contractor and allows him to double-dip. The new head of DWSD, who comes from Ann Arbor and is working at the command of Judge Sean Cox, not Mayor Bing, also brings this guy on the payroll and allows him to operate like this. Why should anyone believe that bringing in outside help is going to be any better when the examples to date have shown that outsiders can act in ways that are as questionable as what comes out of Detroit today.

More so, why is there any fear of corrupting an office when it is so easy to walk on any wrongdoing? Look at Kwame for instance. The guy ran a ring of corruption, complete with racketeering and embezzlement. Nobody seems to know if he will be found guilty or not.

There are special courts with special judges for people higher on the totem pole. If you fix that, it's a big step towards addressing the problem.
