    I fell in front of the Gaslight last week. It was one of those funny falls when you try and right your self as you are going down. Nice pics from a true and respected Detroiter

    Cool photos Lowell... you can really see the beauty of the buss terminal structure in that shot. Nice 'thread' name too.

    Nice shots,it kinda shows off the sexiness of the neon,I wonder why they pushed to get away from that part.

    You see ...... the city has beauty other then ruin porn.I just takes a bit more work to capture it sometimes.

    Whenever I'm over in that area the Lindell A.C. along with Jimmy & Johnny Butiscaris always comes to mind.

    In the Rosa photo, the fog fades the background just enough to blend the far end of the repeating structure into the unknown. That, with the vanishing-point perspective, suggests the possibility that the repetition may be endless if not for the fog. It's an apt metaphor for transit.

    That photo is poetry.
