Default Detroit police on the lookout for Midtown bandit

Robber passed a note requesting money from the Starbucks and the YOBS on Woodward Wednesday.

    From article:

Sources say the suspect bought at coffee at the Starbucks on Woodward Ave. and came back to pass a worker a note demanding money. The employees took cover and the suspect ran off without any money.

However, sources say the suspect walked into the 'Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe on Woodward around 90 minutes later and passed another note to the cashier demanding money. This time, he made away with around $300.

    How about the "Midtown Rambler"
He don't give a hoot of warning wrapped up in a black cat cloak
He don't go in the light of the morning
He's split, the time the cook will crow

Poetic justice that he paid for a coffee at Starbucks, got nothing in an ill-fated robbery attempt and actually lost money on that transaction.

Too bad he was more successful at YOBS.
