    Default Overturned SALT Truck?

Did I actually hear that on WDET's road report a moment ago? I-96 at Livernois? An overturned Salt Truck.

This is a county driver who may indeed have made history. I've never heard of such a thing. He'll never live this one down.

Must've REALLY flipped out those chickenhearts following on his tail...I always love seeing 'em line up, like they are little ducks behind momma.

It happens. About a decade ago I was plowing complexes in Southfield and came across an Oakland County truck near Telegraph and the Lodge that "forgot" that he couldn't fit under the overpasses when his box was up. He hit the bridge and ripped the entire box right off of the truck! The truck ended up 100ft down the road with the box under the bridge with salt everywhere.

I love when the snowplow gets stuck in the ditch!

One day after one of the biggest pile-ups in Detroit history, THIS person should get an award for the stupidest driver in the entire Metro area.

Sometimes the salt trucks have a little help turning over in the morning.
