Since I know 2 folks who call Palmer Woods home and spend quite a bit of time there, I have to agree with p69rrh51.

Palmer Woods is an "Oasis Unto Itself!".

There is little crime within the area, and most crime happens along Woodward, which has limited access to the neighborhood. Neighbors shovel snow, cut grass and actually talk to each other[[unlike people who bitch on anonymously on an on-line forum) in that tight night community.

Furthermore, I can't say I've seen much prostitution going on when I'm leaving at night[[usually well after 2 AM) in the last few years, unless I take John R. Then, I might see one or two!
