I am thinking about writing a book about a group of people in the future that pooled their resources and offered not to actually buy the city but take a Billion dollars and buy the city property by property.

They came up with a theme that was called Made in America in Detroit with love.

They took a page from the Walt Disney playbook as he went about acquiring multiple properties through many different realtors in secret to build a theme park now called Disney World.

So this group comes in an acquires every vacant property within the city ,industrial,multi-use and residential buildings over 30 units and educational buildings.Properties are cheap enough.

As this was an American effort to raise not only the city but also the country as a whole, they set about transferring many recently closed factory's that have been making products here in this country as they did this many employees then also transferred to the region.

Through their political connections and public pressure they encouraged congress to actually enforce the buy American policies in place and disallowed the foreign country's to purchase American companies to circumvent this policy.

As Americans became accustomed to actually demanding and embracing the made in America aspect because it not only improved their way of life it put their neighbor to work and the US once again became a major player in the world of economies.

It is interesting how with a billion dollars you can either enhance a few lives on an island or set a country on track and effect the way of life for millions.

Sounds crazy? Wal-Mart is pledging to spend 50 Billion on made in America in the next ten years and they are but one company so the return is there.

No because his target is CBD so he would be a non issue and tax credits would be transferred to the incoming business and employees and not used in the initial property take downs.So two completely different scenarios and targets.

Exit strategy is based on ten years so in essence shaving 40 years off of a fifty year plan.
