    It would be nice if something like this were truly, sincerely implemented here.

    Unfortunatley a)National politics are too fucked, b)Regional/state politics are too stupid, also antagonistic to Detroit, c)Local leadership is too stubborn/incompetent for something like this to ever be implemented.

    And if it was as the article shows it wouldn't last.
