    It says Royal on the rear quarter. Maybe a 1956 Chrysler Royal Australian?

    ok, definitely mid/late 50s. I can't think of anything but those soon-to-be AMC brands that had the c-pillar configuration this has with the sharper edges. plymouth/dodge/chrysler had that in the early/mid 50s, but were more rounded. but the name clearly looks like R_____l. grrrrrrrr. Not American

    55 Plymouth Belvedere, which was the top of the line Plymouth that year, 1956 the Fury was introduced as the top model.

    We had a 1953 Chrysler New Yorker that looked similar but without the fins. It had air conditioning! Wow! LOL!
