Default "Detroit Is No Dry Bones" - Camilo Vergara Exhibition

As many this forum know Camilo Vergara has been chronicling the urban landscape of Detroit long before 'ruins porn' became a cliche in the argot of urban photography.

This has led to books, a MacArthur Fellow grant and the current exhibition 'Detroit is no Dry Bones' at the National Building Museum in DC that features images from Detroit.

Camilo has tracked the changes of several sites in Detroit [and elsewhere] over the past decades making for some very interesting progressions over time. Many can be seen in his recently updated website "Tracking Time". View Packard progression and more here. His work combines beautiful photography and great patience to quietly speak volumes.
