    Default Burns Airport - West Side/Plymouth Road

    Anyone remember the Burns Airport located on the north side of Plymouth Road, just west of Telegraph?

    Before my time but my father told me of its existence when driving by its former location.
    Check out DTE aerial phote from 1949. You can see planes around the perimeter of the dirt runway. It appears to be gone in the next available year of the DTE series.
    There was one further down Plymouth Rd. at Middlebelt also.
