    Neilr,
    On the Detroit's wealth of architecture thead, you posted a brochure on the last page from Duchess Street. Where did you find that brochure and is thera any way I can get a copy?

    Hi Nativegirl,

    They're not from a brochure. I scanned the posted pictures from xeroxes in my files that I made many years ago of an article in vol. 71 [[1939) of the Architectural Forum entitled Two Blocks of Model Houses. The bound issues were at the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library.

    Hm! I'm pretty sure those houses were between Morang and Moross. I think the one with the attached garage is on the NE corner of Duchess and Casino, the birch tree in front is so small in the photo! [[pretty sure it was a birch) I walked by there on my way to/from Carleton in the 70s when it was much bigger lol...

    They are actually between Whittier and Morang.
