st. john berchmans/servite and hosmer schools

about a year or so ago, we were in the area and both schools were well kept and clean. there was activity going on in the servite gym [[one of the best). we were just in the area last weekend and both schools were totally trashed. windows and door busted out, just a mess. very sad to see as i attended both schools.

That's awful but almost an obligatory event when a school closed in Detroit. I believe that Servite became COlin Powell Academy-don't know if it was a public or charter high school.
