Soldiers and Sailors Monument[[s)!

Surfing through the net the other night, I stumbled upon a photo of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.....and had to look twice. The top one is located in Providence, RI, while the bottom one is that with which we are all familiar. Little research shows both were designed by Randolph Rogers, so that diminishes the surprise somewhat. However, I still like the one in Indy better!

I remember seeing the RI one on Shorpy. I thought it looked familiar.
