    Default Thanksgiving back in the day

    If you hosted or came to Thanksgiving in Detroit back in it's heyday, tell us about your big get together.

    We would all get together and read the circulars so we could be prepared to get to Walmart for its 8 pm opening!

    What a sad world.

    As a kid, Dad would bring us downtown or to brush park with a stepladder and we would watch the parade. Sometimes we would even be able to wave at Sonny Eliot. Then football on the TV and Turkey in the tummy.
