Yes, that would be interesting especially for those states prone to natural disasters, the feds would no longer be obligted to send money for cleanup.

It would be an interesting notion to give a bunch of people who hate paying taxes their very own state to turn into their very own country. How would they address capital improvement projects like road maintenence, dams, and natuaral disaster clean ups not to mention social programs for those that fall on hard times?

Nineteen states suceeding from the Union. Not going to Happen! It would be a act of civil war if they do. Those folks don't need some type of confederation for their survival. So what we got a black man in the White House. Those states can't survive with a united union.
