    30th Annual Detroit Historical Society Guild Flea Market, Historic Fort Wayne, Saturday and Sunday, October 6 & 7, 2012, 10am-4pm.
    Antique and bargain hunters will find collectibles, contemporary treasures and a variety of arts and crafts at this annual flea market. Returning by popular demand, tours of the Historic Fort Wayne complex will be offered each day. The guided tours will include the Star Fort built in the 1840s, the Commanding Officer’s House, the Spanish-American War Guard House and the National Museum of the Tuskegee Airmen. A new attraction for this fall’s event is the Glancy Trains Modular Railroad Club, displaying their amazing toy train layout and promoting the upcoming newly-renovated Glancy Trains exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum. Refreshments, snacks and baked goods will also be for sale. Historic Fort Wayne is located at 6325 W. Jefferson at the foot of Livernois. Free admission; $5 secured parking; $3 tours.
