    Default Mount Elliot Park Construction

It closed two weeks ago. Looks like it got enveloped into the Uniroyal construction.

Does anyone know if there are any details/renderings online? Timeline?

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy site is woefully out of date. There has been a lot of activity with construction equipment and dump trucks going back and forth this week. From what I heard from a casual -- not necessarily well informed source -- is that they are beginning work on the "water feature" mentioned in the Deseret News article. I wish the Conservancy would update their site and give more details on what that will eventually be.

I wrote a letter to the Conservancy probably about 2 months ago inquiring about the site design for the renovated Mt. Elliot park and if there was any kind of restoration work scheduled for historic Wight Street along it's northern border, but haven't heard a peep from them.....

The Conservancy has done nice work so far, so I'm hoping that the renovated park will turn out good. I'm interested on how the "water feature" will be.

For anyone that's interested here is my blog post with video of the park shortly before it was closed off.
