There is website that draws a lot of its readership from Latin America called 9gag. Its a humor website with user submitted meme-style content. Detroit is mentioned and lampooned quite frequently on the website... including as recently as yesterday. At first it seems strange to read the comments from young kids in Colombia and Brazil mocking Detroit, but it makes sense. I guess that's what Detroit deserves after decades of failed leadership.
