I watched that last night after hearing about it on the news. Kind of grainy, not real interesting, though if you don't remember the late 70's it may be a laugh as the clothes and hair were quite awful.

Can you imagine watching that in 78 and someone telling you she would be the future Gov on Michigan.
I wonder what the future holds for her, Senator Granholm?

John Engler once was one of the bachelors. Turns out he won. When he came out from behind the screen his date ran away!

    Cute then. Cute now.

That hair was all the rage. It just shows to go ya that nothing looks older faster, than what is fashionable today. That goes for buildings, clothing and hair.

All those young guys with faux hawks are going to regret their coif choices and will look back with sniggery sniggers. I think they look like they have just been given a swirly by the football team. When I was coming up the only guys who got smirlyed were guys who narked on their buds, cheated on loading a lid, or asked to be fronted and walked away from their promise. Essentially, if you were a ....., you'd find yourself hair deep in a toilet bowl.

Now all the .....es walk around with their faux hawks and I can only think they deserve it.

Jenny was a fashion victim, but was a fine looking one. I liked the suspenders too. They framed things nicely.

Apparently the word that rhymes with smoosh is censored here and replaced with a series of dots .... Hmm, the things you learn.

She looks like she smoked a big doobie before getting on. Good for her.

Yikes. Thankfully I made it through that decade without looking that ridiculous.

Yeah, pics or it didn't happen!

As for Jenny, while eating a very late breakfast at Zeff's in Eastern Market...where the nearest toddler actually had drumsticks and his daddy was showing him a few beats, it was the wrong morning to have a hang-over...I noticed a picture of Marilyn Monroe.

Curvaceous Jenny Granholm seemed to be channeling her.

I still wonder how this never surfaced while she was in Michigan politics...

she really didnt seem to have much cleavage there, but a great body none the less....

imagine if she had gotten with a good right wing conservative back then, she might not have been the socialist itch she turned out to be...

I wish she was actually socialist. Maybe things would look good around here now. Instead of the mediocrity that occurred in reality, if she had been conservative maybe we'd have lost GM & Chrysler.
