Default Masonic Temple utility bills update [[link included)

Wrote this up this morning, thought you guys would be interested. Sounds like a deal will get done, possibly by end of today or early next week.

I broke the story yesterday and have been trying to get answers. DTE Energy said they'll send out an e-mail if anything changes today.

Checked out the free Nas show last night inside the temple's commandery asylum, and it was amazing!

Masonic Temple, DTE Energy have yet to resolve unpaid bills, but a Sunday shut off is unlikely

How nice of DTE to discuss the status of payments and shutoffs with the media. What a great boost to development. [[And then they say they can discuss the status.) What an announcement. We are shutting off their power, but we can't tell you anything.) Self-serving, at the expense of a business that's struggling to keep a Detroit icon afloat and eventually profitable.

DTE is a horrible company. You miss a payment or two during hard times, they are all over you. During heatwaves you get brown/black out and you don't even get so much as an apology or a little credit on your next payment due in inconvenience.

In their commercials they act like they care about you as a person, but if you lose your job or something else happens where you can't pay your bill, they won't hesitate to cut you off. I love it when companies pretend to care about your well being. The illusion they care is heartwarming.
